Wilson Partners has joined Maidenhead United FC in helping them raise £150k for Maidenhead and Windsor charities

Getting involved in our local community is a high priority for Wilson Partners, so when we saw our local football ream Maidenhead united launch their #Magpies150Challenge campaign to raise £150k for local charities in Windsor and Maidenhead, we just had to get involved.

The Magpies 150 Challenge is a call to action to those who want to provide vital fundraising support for local charitable organisations.  Anyone can take the Magpies 150 Challenge, whatever your age or abilities.

You can choose your own Magpies 150 Challenge, which can be any activity you like! All you need to do is think of an activity based around the numbers 1.5, 15 or 150 that suits your skills, set up a fundraising page on Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving and complete your challenge.

As part of our internal ‘Wellbeing at Wilson Partners’ initiative, we tasked the team with coming up with their own challenges. There were three clear objectives – doing something you wouldn’t ordinarily do, raising some money for some very worthy charities in our community and most importantly having a load of fun and sharing your experience with the team and they didn’t disappoint. Here’s just a few of the challenges taken so far:

• 150m dribbling, running & gym skills
• 150 lengths of the pool
• 150 trampoline sit bounces
• 150 squats with weights
• 15 slides
• 150 keepy uppies
• 150 press ups
• 150 seconds of skipping
• 5km cycle in 15 minutes
• 15 mins of hula hooping
• 1,150,000 steps in lockdown…..the last 150 at York Road, home of MUFC!!
