MUFC (Maidenhead United Football Club)

Sport has a big role to play in the community, not just in bringing people together but in the positive benefits it can have on both physical and mental health. Recognition of these shared beliefs – alongside a love of football – was what led the connection between the Club and Wilson Partners. Maidenhead is where is all started for Wilson Partners and with the firm’s and the club’s passion for improving the lives of those in the local community, the relationship has developed and strengthened over a number of years. Because of this shared focus and values, Wilson Partners is Maidenhead United FC’s Accountancy Partner and supports a number of the Club’s community efforts.

Wilson Partners are also sponsors of the Magpies In the Community. This was established with the objective of using the popularity and profile of football to help engage the local community and inspire people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to participate in healthy recreation and Wilson Partners are proud to be part of this initiative.

In July 2023 Wilson Partners announced an innovative initiative that saw Wilson Partners and 10 other Maidenhead businesses come together to fund the front of shirt sponsorship for suicide awareness and prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably.

In addition to the logo appearing on all of the shirts, the club, Wilson Partners and the other CALM partners work closely with CALM throughout the season to activate campaigns in support of CALM’s work here in Maidenhead and across the UK.
