Lead Advisor to Wye Residential Partners on its merger with Wynyard Wright and Ellis

Wilson Partners Corporate Finance are pleased to announce that we recently advised the Wye Partnership on its strategic merger with Wynyard Wright and Ellis. The group now known as The Wye Partnership incorporates the Wye Residential and Wye Country brands.

As part of Wye’s ongoing commitment to providing the most comprehensive Independent Estate Agency service in South Bucks and The Chilterns, a clear strategy was needed to build and expand the agencies geographical presence. Wynyard Wright and Ellis had a similar plan with an expanding geography and both business’s had known each other for many years so a merger made compelling sense.

The two agencies compliment each other perfectly – one with residential focus, the other on country. The Partners are all highly experienced individuals with an in depth understanding of their respective local markets. Their clients now benefit from combined expertise and support, as well as a broader database with offices now in High Wycombe, Hazlemere, Prestwood, Great Missenden and Naphill.

Adam Wardle, Director, Wilson Partners Ltd commented, “This was one of those deals where you could see the obvious synergies, complimentary skill sets and above all a desire by all parties to create something bigger, more dynamic, more dominant, but continuing to be focussed on delivering an exceptional customer service. Careful planning and post deal integration were key to a merger like this and the enlarged group continues to be a very valued client of Wilson Partners.”

Garry Almrott, Managing Partners, The Wye Partnership, said, “The merger of our business with Wynyard Wright and Ellis was actually a long time in the making for good reason. It needed patience when required, skilled negotiation, upmost confidentiality and a caring, equitable attitude to all Partners of both firms – these were qualities demonstrated by Wilson Partners Corporate Finance and Glenn Skivington and his team at Gordons Solicitors to deliver a very exciting and successful merger.”

“Wilson Partners Corporate Finance really exceeded our expectations, managing many partners interests to make the deal happen and gave us clear, professional advice throughout.” Garry Almrott, Managing Partner, The Wye Partnership.

Wilson Partners Corporate Finance works with shareholders and entrepreneurial management teams of owner managed businesses, usually with a turnover of £2m to £100m.
