Wilson Partners take on the 3 Peaks

A team of 16 have tasked themselves with climbing the National 3 Peaks in under 24 hours. All have chosen to be part of this iconic British challenge to raise funds for the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service.

The charity provides specialist care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and into surrounding counties.  The approach is bespoke for every child in order to provide the best possible care and support that they need. As well as the clinical care, Alexander Devine Hospice opens up opportunities for children and their siblings to experience fun, joy and adventures, and help families make precious memories for as long as they have. It costs around £2.33 million to run the service each year.

The team are spending many hours training, as well as working together, and it’s great to see everyone motivate and encourage each other at all times.”

The team who are climbing Snowden, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike have differing levels of fitness and faced with such a tough challenge are all committed to completing the task with a smile on their faces! The sponsored walk will take place on 25^th and 26^th June and coincides with Alexander Devine’s Rock the Blue week, which recognises Alexanders favourite colour.
